BROWN, Wayne D.

Wayne D. Brown, 76, was born on June 19, 1926 in Mesa, AZ, and passed away on Dec. 10, 2002. He was raised in Lehi and attended Mesa High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He was preceded in death by his son, Rick. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; sister Rose Openshaw of Phoenix; five step-children; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 16th (also one hour prior to service), Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial way, Mesa. Funeral Services Tuesday, Dec. 17th also at Bunker's Garden Chapel, followed by interment at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St, Mesa, AZ . Published in the Arizona Republic on 12/15/2002.
