BOWER, Charles Robert

Looking up into the heavens, one might see Charles Robert Bower, "Bob" of Scottsdale, Arizona who passed away on December 12th, 2002 after a long battle with heart disease at age 56. 

A loving family man, he is survived by his wife Anne (Mills) Bower, Step-Mother Jane Bower of Normal, IL, Sister Barbara Stephens of Martinsville, IL, his son Matthew Bower, daughter Erin Wier, step-children Andrew & Rebecca Mills, and grandchildren Michael, Daniel, and Britney Wier. 

Bob was born in Normal, IL in 1946 and graduated from the U of I to become a Systems Engineer with GTE for 30 years. Bob helped many with his computer expertise. He was on the heart transplant list at the time of his death, and a third degree Knights of Columbus. 

Visitation: Tuesday, 12/17/02, with a Rosary at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road. Mass will be held on Wed., 12/18/02 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (602) 414-5353, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe, AZ 85282.
