BELL, Annabelle

Annabelle Jones Bell, age 79, passed away in Scottsdale, AZ, on Dec. 11, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Norman; daughter, Aleah Burreson, of Bowie AZ; son, Jack of Mesa; granddaughters, Shannon Jones, Mesa; and Kendra Shelton of Sacramento; and two great-grandchildren. She was born in Columbus, Indiana, and lived in Sanford, NC for 9 years and retained many fond memories of the South and family members. The family returned to Columbus in 1932, where she lived and worked until her marriage to Norman in 1945. They lived in Terre Haute and later moved to Longview, WA. The family then moved to Scottsdale in 1958. She enjoyed music and traveling. Funeral Services will be held at Scottsdale United Methodist Church at 4140 N. Miller Rd., 85251, on Monday, Dec. 16, 2002. Visitation at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, Sunday evening 5 to 8 PM. Donations may be made to the Church or to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016. Published in the Arizona Republic on 12/15/2002.
