Ed West, Sr., 70, died Monday Jan. 10, 2005 at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside. 
      
Mr. West enjoyed fishing, playing cards and Dominos. He also enjoyed traveling. He was a carpenter and he built many homes across the nation. 
      
Mr. West is survived by his sons, Ed West, Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri, Clay West of Grand Prairie, Texas, Joey West, Justin West, and Cameron West all of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Mary Norris of Phoenix,; one sister, Wanda Lewis. 
      
He was preceded in death by his parents. 
      
Private memorial services will be held by the family. 
      
Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
