TYLER, Donald R. (Rick)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/14/2005 Donald R (Rick) Tyler died after a short battle with cancer on Dec. 24, 2004 in Taylor. He was born April 19, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a operation supervisor for Qwest Communications. Rick was a very generous and soft hearted. He loved helping others. He loved working with his hands and very particular about his work. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and spending time with his family. Rick was intelligent and had a very quick wit as well as a photographic memory. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Rick will be greatly missed by all of his family. He is survived by his wife Ilona Tyler; daughter Tasha Challis; son Nathan Tyler; stepchildren, Mario Semmler, Mandy Haacke and Maryann Semmler; and eight grandchildren; his mother, Wilma Tyler; sisters Clarice (Rod) Bottoms, Janette (Don) Guffey, Janice (Gary) Ervin, Wayne (Liz) Tyler, Gary (Darla) Tyler.
