Fermin "China", Ontiveros Mr. Fermin "China" Ontiveros, 91, of Globe, AZ, passed away December 11, 2003. Services are Dec. 17, 3pm, Lamont Mort. Chapel, 328 S. Hill St., Globe, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 12/17/2003. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Thursday, December 18, 2003 Fermin "China" Ontiveros, 91, of Globe died Dec. 11, 2003, in Globe. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and had lived in Arizona 87 years. He was a heavy equipment operator for Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company. Survivors include one son, Dave Ontiveros of Globe; two daughters, Barbara Ontiveros of Chandler and Sara Ontiveros of Globe; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 17) at Lamont Mortuary of Globe. A rosary funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at Lamont Mortuary. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
