Marian's children remember her as a mother who us to be tolerant and gave us a love of music, a hunger for the written word, and an appreciation of art, She gave us the courage to look for the best in others and the insight to believe we could accomplish anything we set our minds to. She felt that hope springs eternal, that circumstances were never as bad as they seemed and to be thankful and gracious when things were better than we believed they could be.
