JOHNSON, Jane

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, December 16, 2003 Jane Johnson, 85, passed away December 13, 2003. She was born September 8, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a claims adjuster in the insurance industry for many years, working with the Fireman's Fund. She married the late Allan Eric Johnson in 1947. She is survived by her children, Allan Thomas Johnson, Carol Ladigo and Nancy Roberts, along with 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She brought great joy into her family's lives with her singing and humor. She was a Sweet Adeline for 28 years with the Phoenix Kachinas, Valley of the Sun and Scottsdale choruses. She also was a 20 year volunteer at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. Memorial Services will be held at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Road, Thursday, December 18, 2003 at 12:00 noon. The family suggests contributions to the University of Arizona Cancer Research Foundation or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
