The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, December 14, 2003 Elodia Moreno Martinez, 76, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away December 12, 2003. She was born October 18, 1927 in Tucson, AZ. Elodia moved to Scottsdale 43 years ago and worked with her husband Elias in their Old Town Scottsdale business. She was a loving mother and spouse who will be missed by all who knew her. Elodia is survived by her husband Elias P. of Scottsdale; son, Richard M. (Diane) of Tucson; sisters, Sarina Robinson, Phoenix and Carmen Moreno Elster, Tucson; brothers, Efren Y. Moreno and Frank Y. Moreno both of Tucson; 5 grandchildren, Cathy Ann Martinez, Elias R. Martinez, Rene F. Martinez, Selina Q. Martinez, Gabriel A. Valdez; and 1 great grandson, Adrian Martinez. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Catalina Yslas Moreno; son, Elias M. Martinez and brother, Carlos Y. Moreno. Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2003, 4-9pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale and a Mass on Monday, December 15th, 10am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 10815 N. 84th Street. Scottsdale.
