Alberti,formerly of Phoenix, AZ, died in Laguna Hills, CA on December 13, 2003 at the age of 88. Born in Chicago, May 18, 1915, he was the youngest of 7 children. Don, his wife and 2 sons moved to Phoenix in 1956. Don was founder and President of Alberti Insurance and Realty, Inc. until his retirement in 1974. He was past President of AMICO, an Italian American Service club that raised funds for scholarships to needy students. Don is survived by his wife Vera; 3 sons, Tom (Dru) and Gary (Nancy) Alberti and Neil (Michelle) Perlman; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Graveside services to be held on Friday, December 19th at 1:00 PM at St. Francis Cemetery, 5005 East Oak St., Phoenix, AZ. Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E.
