Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, March 3, 2005 Phyllis Ann Copland passed away Feb. 25, 2005, in Mesa. Phyllis was born on Oct. 21, 1918, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, to Harold and Olive Bair. She married James G. Copland in 1940 and relocated to Phoenix in 1943. After Jim's death in 1976, Phyllis resided in Tempe and Mesa. Recently, she found renewed happiness as a resident of Arizona Pioneers' Home in Prescott, Ariz. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband and one grandchild. She is survived by her brothers, Harold and Anita Bair and Harry and Peg Bair; sons, Jim and Pam Copland, Craig Copland and Eric and Darlene Copland; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held at Green Acres, in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Feb. 28th. Information provided by survivors.
