William Jack (Bill) McAnerny, 72, passed away Dec. 13, 2003. He is survived by his brother Russell McAnerny, his sister-in-law Bonnie, nephew Mike McAnerny and niece Jeri McAnerny, all of Phoenix. Bill graduated from Northeast High School in Oklahoma City in 1949, attended Odessa (Texas) Community College, and later received his BA from St. Michael's College in Santa Fe, NM. He taught school in Thoreau, NM, retired in 1991 and moved to Phoenix. With gratitude, his family acknowledges the tender and loving care given to Bill by the nurses and staff of the Phoenix Baptist Hospice Unit and requests that any contributions be made to the Baptist Unit, Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix, 85014. Graveside services will be held in Grants, New Mexico. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Green Acres Glendale Mortuary.
