Daniels, Thomas Raymond
Thomas Raymond Daniels, 43, of Scottsdale, went to be with our Lord on 12/12/03. He began his "E" ticket ride on January 22, 1960 in Johnstown, PA. He is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Somer and Ryan Daniels, Joel and Kyle and his daughter Brittany; parents Robert Sr. of Mesa and Nancy of Scottsdale and stepmother Ellie, also of Scottsdale. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Florence Mercer of Scottsdale; brothers Rob and Debbie of Tucson, Brian and Elena of Mesa and sister Dawn and husband Greg Disney of Phoenix and numerous aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. Tom died as the result of complications involved with lengthy health problems that started at the age of 14. Yet he was a scratch golfer during high school at East Phoenix High School, where he graduated in 1978. He was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis baseball Cardinals and the Oakland Raiders, and loved listening to the music of the Beach Boys and Jackson Browne. He will always be remembered as a gourmet chef and lover of seafood and cajun cooking. A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Tempe, 515 E. Continental Dr. at 11 a.m. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Donor Network of Arizona, 201 W. Coolidge Phx AZ. 85013.
