The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, December 17, 2003 Jon P. Morgan, age 44, died on Dec. 11, 2003 at his home in Scottsdale AZ. Private Family Services will be held Saturday December 20, with burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mr. Morgan was a graduate of Rockhurst High School, class of 1977, graduate of Arizona State, with an Engineering Degree, and a Graduate of University of Kansas with a MBA. Jon moved from Kansas City to Scottsdale in 1985. He was employed by Arthur Young, Citi Corp., and American Express Company of Phoenix, AZ. For the last 12 years he enjoyed international travel while with American Express. He had the privilege of seeing many parts of the world as a financial analyst. He was preceded in death by his father E. Herbert Morgan Jr. on December 12, 1999. Survivors include his mother Susan E. Morgan of Leawood, KS, a brother Michael B. Morgan and wife Holly of Prairie Village, KS, two sisters: Melissa Morgan Daily and husband Jay of Omaha, NE, and Jill E. Pannell and husband Brian of Leawood. KS, seven nieces and nephews, longtime companion Cecelia Vae of Scottsdale, AZ, and his special uncle and aunt Bob & Darlene Morgan of Leawood, KS.
