Velmer is survived by 2 children, Judy Herman and Bill Ashley, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Memorial service on Wed., Dec. 17, 2003 Glencroft Retirement Center, 8611 N. 67th Ave, in Glendale.
