Frances Maxine Bower, 71, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Dec. 12, 2003. She was born February 11, 1932 in Mills County, IA to Emmit and Mary Dobbs. She is survived by her husband Charles Bower, daughters Denise Cole and Debra Van Der Werf (Paul); brothers Gene Dobbs (Colleen), Donald Dobbs (Beryl) and Keith Dobbs; grandchildren Christine Cole, Rachel Guest and Dori Guest; step-grandchildren Jenette O'Rourke (Sean), Kevin Van Der Werf and Erica Van Der Werf; niece Brenda Sullivan (Jerry); nephews Vaughn Dobbs and Brent Dobbs (Becky). Private services to be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Trinity Hospice, L.L.C., 6245 N. 24th Parkway, #200, Phoenix, AZ 85016 or the Oasis Ministry, c/o Community Church of Joy, 21000 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85308. Funeral Services entrusted to Shadow Mountain Mortuary.
