MIKKELSON, Clayton E

Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, December 11, 2003 Clayton E. Mikkelson, "Dr. Mike", of Laveen was born Sept. 22, 1918 in Devils Lake, North Dakota. He entered into his final rest on December 7, 2003 in Goodyear, Arizona. Dr. Mike came to Arizona at the age of 15. He attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. He practiced veterinary medicine in Arizona for over 50 years. Dr. Mike is survived by his wife Vivienne, sons Mark Mikkelson, Chris-tian Mikkelson, Darrel Hale, William Byrd, daughters Trudi Mikkelson, Jill Jarman, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at East Resthaven Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
