The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, December 19, 2003 Alan F. Alexander, 71, of Phoenix AZ, passed away Dec 12, 2003. Graveside memorial services will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6290 W. Northern Ave. Glendale AZ Sat Dec 20, at 2pm. Born November 1932 in Grand Island Nebraska. Alan spent many years in Denver Colorado before finding his home in Phoenix. Alan was an artist that sold his fine art internationally and locally. Alan's artwork has been displayed in many art museums across the country. His works are in the permanent display of the Museum of Nebraska Artists. Alan had many awards for this artwork and is listed in the Outstanding Artists and Designers of the 20th Century. Alan's major contribution was his optimistic creative soul that infected all who came in contact with him. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Alice, his children, Mike, Bryce and Deena, brother Al and sister Lois. He was preceded in death by his two sisters Marsha, and Jodi.
