The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, December 17, 1982, p b13 MAYER -- Esta Lee SMITH, 79, died Dec. 15, 1982, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. Mrs. Smith was born in Alabama and moved to Arizona in 1918. She was a longtime Scottsdale resident before moving to Mayer in 1975. She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She is survived by her husband, Irvin L. Smith; daughters, Betty HINES, Shirley WILLIAMS and Peircie DUNN; sons, Lawrence and Irvin, Jr.; three sisters, four brothers, 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott made arrangements.
