Bruno "BJ" Jozwiak, 79, of Phoenix passed away Thurs. December 18, 2003. BJ was born in Chicago, Illinois, where he married Bea, they were together for 56 years. A friend to everyone, BJ was a Navy veteran and served in the first wave at Utah Beach during WWII. A printer and also an avid golfer, BJ scored three holes in one after the age of 70. BJ is preceded in death by one son, Jim. He is survived by his wife Bea, Son Bob, daughter Pat Burdick, son Joe and 5 grandchildren. A memorial mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday December 23, 2003 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church 3550 E. Knox Rd. Phoenix, Az.The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in BJ's name to the Arizona Heart Institute 2632 N. 20th St. Phx, AZ 85006.- Carr Tenney Mortuary handled arrangements.
