LAMB, Bette Lou (Ruth)

Lamb, Bette Lou "Ruth" Bette Lou (Ruth) Lamb, 76, of Gilbert, AZ passed away December 11, 2003 in Mesa. Mrs. Bette Lamb was born Bette Lou Williams. Bette had been married to her husband George A. Lamb for 54 years, who passed away September 16, 2000. Bette is survived by her sons, George and Bill; daughters, Deidrie, Patti, and Lillie; as well as 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Bette was actively involved in the Women's Fellowship organization at the First Christian Church in Globe, as well as the Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Tempe. Bette worked as the Globe City Librarian, at Motorola, and for United Blood Services before retiring. She also volunteered for United Blood Services for 10 years. In her retirement, she and her husband George spent many summers in the mountains. Bette was a defender of those in need, and passionate about her beliefs. She will be missed. Services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at Carr Tennions to the First Christian Church of Globe, 401 S. Broad St. Globe, AZ 85501.
