Pate, Howard M. Howard M. Pate, 81 of Phoenix, AZ passed away December 17, 2003. He was born in Lane, South Dakota and moved to Phoenix in 1953. He is survived by his wife, Joan, 6 daughters, Patricia, Barbara, Marsha, Peggy, Laura, and Cherryl, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He served in the United States Navy as a radio operator from 1942 to 1945. He was a salesman and labor representative. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his kindness to his family & friends. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, December 2l, 2003 at 3:00 PM at the Hansen Chapel, 8314 North 7th Street, Phoenix.
