ROWE, Rollin Andrew (Buck)

Winterset Madisonian, Winterset, Iowa Wednesday, July 29, 1987 Rollin A. (Buck) Rowe, Macksburg Services for Rollin A. (Buck) Rowe, 76, Macksburg, who died July 20 at the Greater Community Hospital at Creston, were held Thursday, July 23, at the Macksburg Methodist Church with the Rev. Charlie Morrow officiating. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery. Born in Madison County June 27, 1911, he was the son of A. H. and Nellie Gattenby Rowe. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He once was featured in the Madisonian for the crafts he made at home. On June 6, 1936, he was married to Florence Merna Bolger at the Congregational Parsonage in Creston. Mr. Rowe spent his lifetime in Madison County and was a member of the Macksburg Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows in Macksburg. Survivors include his wife; a son, Bruce of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Shirley Burk of Des Moines; a brother, Allen of Nixa, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
