Mary Kathryn Otto, 88, of Chino Valley, Ariz., and formerly of Springs, Pa., died Friday, May 7, 2010, at New Horizon Home Care in Chino Valley.
Born Aug. 17, 1921, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was the adopted daughter of Edward W. and Lydia L. (Moser) Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Otto; her birth parents, Charles and Grace (Tressler) Pugh; two sisters, Myrtle Habel and Susie Ulin; and three brothers, William, Daniel and Silas Pugh.
Mrs. Otto was a homemaker and a member of Springs Mennonite Church and Chino Valley United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Brian E. Otto of Chino Valley; two grandchildren, Erik Christopher Otto and Kristin Dawn Otto; and two great-grandchildren, Kathryn Ann Otto and Zachary Allen Otto.
Friends will be received at Springs Mennonite Church, Springs, Pa., from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010, with services conducted at 11 a.m. in the Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Owen Guengerich and the Rev. Casey Rohrer officiating. Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., is in charge of arrangements.
