Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, Jan 28, 1949 STROKE IS FATAL ANDREW NICKLE, AGED PROSPECTOR, SUMMONED Suffering a stroke at his isolated mining camp in the hills 16 miles west of Morristown, Andrew W. Nickle, 74-year-old prospector and miner was brought to Community Hospital in Wickenburg last Thursday and passed away there Tuesday of this week at 2:35 p. m. Mr Mickle, a native of Pennsylvania, had lived and prospected in the Morristown disrict for the past 40 years. He was a widower and had no children or, as far as is known, no living relatives. FOUND BY McALLISTER J. A. McAllister, proprietor of the Richfield station and store at Morristown brought Mr Nickle to the hospital here last week after he had gone to the prospector's camp and found him with his side paralyzed and unable to talk. The body was taken to the Wickenburg Chapel where funeral services will be held Friday with burial in the Wickenburg cemetery.
