Wickenburg (AZ) Graphic Friday, October 9, 1931, p 4 c 5 Bouse Legion Notes The funeral services of Sargeant Jesse James, retired officer of the U.S. Marine Corps, who died in the Naval hospital at San Diego, Calif, was held in Quartzsite at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. George W Conners, honorary chaplain of Renegras Valley Post, No 55 of the American Legion, was in charge of the services, which were held jointly with Blythe. There were eight local legion men present and eight from Blythe.
