Mary Sue Horak, 62, of Eagar, died Jan. 10, 2005.
"Sue" as she was known to most, was born July 2, 1942, in Austin, Texas. She was a loving member of the Springerville Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Edwin Horak Sr. of Eagar; sons Edwin Horak Jr. of Eagar, Kevin Castillo of Tucson, David Walkenhorst of Pekin, Indiana; and her daughter Kimberly Sue Leach of Rosenberg, Texas. Her grandchildren, Dan Leach II, Courtney and Carissa Leach, Dustin, Michael and Jamie Walkenhorst, Jourdan Emerald, Brazis and Syrian Horak and step-granddaughter Danielle Bariantos; sister, Fran Guinn of Nashville, Tennessee; three nephews and two nieces.
She was proceeded in death by her sister Doris Flemming of Dallas, Texas.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Springerville Church of Christ, with Edward Carlisle officating the service and Mark White and Jerret Coleman assisting.
Mary Sue Horak will continue helping people even in her passing as a tissue and organ donor. Financial donations in honor of Sue may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.
