ALMICH, Walter E.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/14/2005 Walter E. Almich, 92, died peacefully at home in Tucson Dec. 22, 2004. He was a summer resident of Lakeside. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Dorothy and six siblings. Walter is survived by his daughters, Betty (Kent) wood, Pat (Jim) Watson; son, Bill Almich and three step-children and their families; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Frank (Lorraine) Almich and sisters, Marie (Don) Hoeder and Charlotte (Doug) Lowe each of Minnesota. Services were held Friday, Dec. 31 at the Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd in Tucson with Kent Wood of Show Low, Community of Christ Church officiating. Interment was in East Lawn Cemetery.
