Albert Padilla Ulibarri, 66, died Jan. 18, 2005 at home in Snowflake.
Albert was born in Farmington, New Mexico and was raised in McNary where he attended elementary and high school. He worked at the lumber mill for Southwest Forest Industries in the Planer Mill and as a forklift and carrier operator until the mill closed down. He then moved to Henderson, Nevada where he worked at the Gypsum Lime Plant for a time and then he worked at the University of Las Vegas as a custodian.
For the last 12 years before retiring, he worked as a maintenance custodian for the Las Vegas Water District. After retirement he took up fishing and loved being with his grandchildren.
Albert is survived by three sons, Albert E. Jr. of Las Vegas, Michael E. of Las Vegas and John E. of Snowflake; his mother, Virginia Ulibarri of Snowflake; seven brothers, George of Snowflake, Pete of Flagstaff, Joe of Farmington, New Mexico, Jerry of Farmington, New Mexico, Manuel Jr. of Scottsdale, Leroy of Phoenix and Lawrence of Phoenix ; five sisters, Nellie Baca, Josie, Nancy and Doris all of Phoenix and Jane of Taylor; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake and interment will be in Henderson, Nevada.
