RAY, Gail Joene

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/21/2005 Gail Joene Ray, 59, died Jan. 13, 2005 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born May 30, 1945 in Salt Lake City, utah to Roy D. and Clair (Inch) Moyer, and moved here from Show Low in 1979. Gail was an active member and excellent disciple of Christ at Robert Gray Baptist Church. Cancer took her from her husband and best friend, Gene. She was a great mother and friend to her children, and an inspiration to everyone who knew her. gail and Gene were active members of the Untouchable Car Club. She is survived by her husband Gene Ray; sons, Robert Christner Ray of Hillsboro, Oregon, Brett Ray of Clackamas, Oregon, and Michael Ray of Tacoma, Washington; daughters, Kathryn Cowell of Portland, Oregon, Carrie Harris of Aloha, Oregon; sisters, Marsha Winterhouse of El Cajon, California, Lois Crane of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren Caitlin, Emily, Hayden, Jordan, Layne, Joel, Cameron, Kyle, Casey, Connor, Marissa, Ember, Jason and Avery. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Robert Gray Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Bjorge officiating. Concluding service, interment followed at Longview Memorial Park. Columbia Funeral Serivce in Longview, Washington handled arrangements.
