Aris Max Christensen, 78, died peacefully Jan. 18, 2005.
He recently relocated from St. Johns to Alamogordo, New Mexico, following the death of his wife Beth Hannah, in October 2004. He was a veteran, serving for two years in the Navy during WWII followed by a full career in the Air Force. He also taught mathematics and computer science for eighteen years at Dixie Middle School in St. George, Utah.
He is survived by his children, Crystaleen Poynter of Stockton, California, MIchael Christensen of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Mark Christenson of Ivins, Utah, Jeanne Christensen of Alamogordo, New Mexico James Hannah of St. Johns, Arizona, Lynnette Ried of Apache Junction, and Lori Cole of Phoenix.
His posterity also includes thirty eight grandchildren, and thirty eight great grand children.
Funeral services were held Jan. 22, in Ivins, Utah.
