DOCKSTEADER, Richard William, Sr.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, May 15, 2010 Richard William Docksteader Sr. Richard William Docksteader Sr., 78, died May 9, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. Richard was born May 15, 1931, in Burns, Wyo., the son of Ervin and Rebecca (Crouch) Docksteader. Richard was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prescott Valley, the Prescott Valley Historical Society, and the St. John's Masonic Lodge in Minnesota. Richard was also an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Sharon, and sons Richard Docksteader Jr. of Stillwater, Minn., and Mark Docksteader. Survivors also include his granddaughter, Mariah Docksteader of New Mexico. A celebration of Richard's life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the United Methodist Church, 8944 E. Sommer Drive, Prescott Valley. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with the final arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
