The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, September 7, 2007 Ann Clara Culler died Aug. 12, 2007, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born March 17, 1925, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Martin and Christina Schorsten. Ann was one of six children. She was 82 years old. Ann married the love of her life, Virgil, on May 16, 1948, in Canton. They moved to Pasadena, Calif., in 1956 and to Prescott in the mid-1990s. Ann's career was in the L.A. garment district as a supervisor for a dressmaking firm. Ann was very active in the Questers; joining the Casa de los Verdugos Chapter #769 in 1975 and serving as their President in 1977. She was an associate member of Don Benito Chapter No. 1091. Ann also served as the State of California President from 1980 to 1982. She was instrumental in the Formation of two Questers chapters in Prescott – Mile High Chapter No. 1309 and Prescott Pines Chapter No. 1345. She served as President for the State of Arizona from 1999 to 2001 and also held the office of Preservation & Restoration Chair for Questers International. Ann was also a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Prescott. Service and burial were in Freeburg, Ohio. Ann is survived by Virgil, her caring husband of 59 years. A Celebration of Ann Culler's life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1202 Green Lane, with Pastor Andrew Byars officiating. A service will be at the Freeburg Church in Alliance, Ohio, and at Shepherd on the Hills Luheran Church in Prescott at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ann's name to Shepherd on the Hills Lutheran Church, 1202 Green Lane, Prescott, Az., 86305.
