William David Hinz died May 9, 2010, in Sedona. He was born Aug. 19, 1938, in Erie, Pa. and moved to Phoenix in 1941. 
     
He is a graduate of Brophy and NAU. He served in the Army. William had a career in the Savings and Loan industry. He served as the President of White Mountain Country Club and enjoyed spending his summers in Pinetop.
     
He is survived by his wife, Mary and two children, Deborah Kelly and William Hinz II. He loved to play golf and spend time with his family. 
     
Services were held at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, May 16.
