The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 18, 1978, p. 5 KATE BURDEN PEARSON Memorial services for Kate Burden Pearson were Tuesday afternoon were Tuesday afternoon at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. The Rev. Donald Chilton officiated. Mrs. Pearson died at Wickenburg Hospital after a prolonged illness. She was born in Brookline, Mass., 79 years ago. She served as hospital administrator here from 1958 to 1964. Mrs. Pearson first came to Wickenburg in 1926 as a guest at Remuda Ranch then managed by her brother, Jack Burden. She returned many times from original home in Brookline and sometimes was active on the staff at Remuda. She also was active in civic activities such as the Wickenburg Library. Survivors are her son, Robert of Tucson, two nephews, John of Monument Valley, Utah and Dana Burden of Wickenburg, and a niece, Sophia B. Echeverria of Boulder, Colo.
