He came to Wickenburg in 1947 The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 11, 1978, p. 6 BEN C. McCABE Ben C. McCabe, a widely-known resident of the Wickenburg area, died at home Tuesday this week. He was 81. Mr. McCabe was born in Duluth, Minn., and came to Wickenburg 20 years ago. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth; two daughters, Elizabeth Burton, San Diego, and Janet MacKenzie of Colorado; three grandchildren, Margot Haggott, Wickenburg; Jim MacKenzie and Pat MacKenzie, both of Colorado, and two great-grandchildren. The family has requested there be no flowers sent, and that memorials be made to the Cystic Fibrosis National Foundation. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday this week in St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. Additional services and burial will be in Duluth, Minn.
