The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 23, 1978, p. 7 PAUL CURTIS Pail Curtis, who came to Wickenburg to make his home after his retirement in 1969, died in a Youngtown hospital Nov. 10 after a long illness. He was 74. Curtis had been a Midwest sales manager of lumber produces for St. Regis paper Co., of Chicago, and spent his entire career with that company and a Montana company merged into St. Regis He was a frequent vacation visitor to Wickenburg beginning in the 1950s and upon retirement he immediately made his home at County Club Park. Following a series of illnesses beginning in 1973, he became a resident of Good Shepherd Retirement Center, Peoria, in Dec. 1976. Private family prayer service was in Youngtown, Nov. 14, and a memorial was at the Good Shepherd Center Nov. 16. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. F. J. Ducat, and two grandsons of Jacksonville, NC.; and one brother, John Curtis of Santa Fe, N.M.; a niece and three nephews.
