The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 28, 1978, p. 2 HAZEL M. SLOAN Hazel M. Sloan, a long-time resident of this area, died last Thursday evening in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. She had lived in Congress, Octave, and Phoenix about 50 years. Services were in the Congress Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon this week. Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn Pearson, at home in Congress; three granddaughters, Cindy Garrett, of Congress, Jerrie Bush, of Artesia, N. Mex., and Louanne Evans of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandsons, Tom Person, Wickenburg, and William Pearson, Autryville, N. C.; and five great-grandchildren.
