The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 28, 1978, p. 2 GLADYS JOHNSTON A funeral mass for Gladys Johnston was celebrated Wednesday morning this week in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Boyle officiated. Mrs. Johnston died Friday last week at her residence in Anthony’s Nursing Home here. A rosary was said Tuesday evening at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnston was a retired telephone operator. She was born 78 years ago in New Mexico, and had lived in Wickenburg 10 years. Her husband predeceased her. Survivors are a daughter, Dodie Yeaman of California; a son, Jasper Johnston of Colorado, two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Interment was in Wickenburg Cemetery.
