Joan Ardith Nanke (Madole), 79, of Prescott, born Mar. 30, 1927, in Whitten, Iowa, passed away in her home on Sept. 18, 2006.

Joan graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1945. She married Donald Owen Nanke in 1947 andlived in the Sedona/Oak Creek area from 1948 to 1955, when they moved to Prescott.

Joan loved her home and family and will be greatly missed. 

Joan is survived by her brother, Howard Madole; son Todd Nanke; daughter Jennifer Ericsson; and son John Nanke, all of Prescott.

A private family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society. 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, Arizona.
