COURTER, Robert F.

Robert F. Courter, 81, of Phoenix, died December 14, 2002. He was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey. He was a WWII veteran having served in the US Marine Corp. He retired as Superintendent of Postal Operations of the Glen Ridge, NJ Post Office after a 30 year career. After he retired he moved to Phoenix in 1980. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris; two sons: Bob and wife Carol of Phoenix; Craig and his wife Debbie of Baltimore; and a daughter Trish of Los Angeles. He is predeceased by his son Larry. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Mike, Kyle and Elizabeth of Phoenix; Ashlee and Amanda of Baltimore; Christina of Peoria. A graveside service was held at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, on Tuesday, December 17, 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
