CAVALETTO, Eugene A. (Gene)

The Arizona Republic 5/19/2010 Cavaletto, Eugene A. "Gene" "A righteous man that walketh in his integrity, Blessed are his children after him." Proverbs 20:7. Eugene A. Cavaletto, 76, of Peoria went Home to be with The Lord on May 16, 2010. Gene was born and raised in Illinois, where he and his beloved Wife, Shirley, raised their family. He enjoyed a successful career with IBM, before retiring to Peoria, AZ, more than twenty years ago. Sherril Cavaletto and Dean (Lisa) Cavaletto were Blessed to call Gene "Dad" and will greatly miss his daily physical presence in their lives. Kendall Lee Cavaletto and Benjamin Cavaletto were Blessed to spend quality time with their "Grandpa C," as he attended every one of their events and spoke highly of their accomplishments. Indeed, their Grandpa's positive guidance and focus on character and family values will reward them for years to come. While we would selfishly love to continue to have him with us here on earth, we know that he is enjoying his well-deserved Heavenly rewards and reuniting with his eldest son, Geno, and our Mom/Grandma C. A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W Thunderbird Road, Peoria, on Thursday, May 20th from 6-8 PM, with a brief prayer to be held at 7:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 21st at 8:30 AM at St. Helen's Church, 5510 W Cholla Street, Glendale. Burial will follow in West Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Arizona, 19820 N. 7th Avenue, Ste 130, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
