Adolph Hershkowitz killed Wednesday (Friday, May 24, 1940)
Adolph Hershkowitz, 29-year-old Arizona Highway Department employee, died at noon Wednesday in the hospital from injuries received in a dynamite explosion five miles north of here.
Complete details of how the accident occurred were unavailable, but it is understood he was using dynamite to blast for a fence that is being erected along the highway between here and Congress.
Hershkowitz is well known here in Wickenburg, as well as in Congress, where he resided for many years. He is survived by brothers and sisters who reside in Congress.
