The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, September 14, 2006 Curtis J. Ritter died Sept. 7, 2006, in the Verde Valley Medical Center. He was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Prescott. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Lange and Alia Rose Towne; and his youngest son, William. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Nora; sons Jake (La Von) of Umqua, Ore., and Tom (Phoebe) of Kirkland, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Chapel at the Fort Whipple veterans' hospital. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Kirkland Elementary School, RO. Box 210, Kirkland, AZ 86332, with a memo for use in the Ball Park Fund.
