Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, May 20, 2010 Beverly Eva Jewell, 81, of Pendleton, Ore., died May 18, 2010, in Flagstaff, from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was born May 2, 1929, in Grand Junction, Colo. Mrs. Jewell had worked as a bookkeeper for SWC Transit Mix & Southwestern Concrete and as a server at Little America. She was retired. She was fond of all animals, especially horses. Mrs. Jewell is survived by her companion, Gilbert "Gib" Branstetter, of Pendleton, Ore.; daughter Judy L. Jones (Mark) of Flagstaff; sons Lloyd V. Jewell, Jr. (Shannon) and Larry A. Jewell (Nanette) of Flagstaff; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Vernon Jewell; father Edwin Larsen; and mother Bernice Squier Larsen. Private services will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Northland Hospice. Norvel Owens Mortuary is handling arrangements.
