Blanche Ann Reddin, 76, died Jan. 27, 2005 at the Payson Care Center.
She was born April 18, 1928 in Manhattan, New York, where she attended grade school. Her family moved to San Francisco, California where she graduated from Mission High School. Ann married Hiram Spivey in Phoenix, Arizona in 1946. In 1947 they moved to Rangely, Colorado where she raised 3 children, Kenneth, Suzanne, and Elaine. In 1966 Ann moved to Westminster, Colorado where she became a widow. Ann then moved to Phoenix where she met Roy Reddin in 1970. They were married July 21, 1972 and lived in Chandler, eventually they moved to Pinedale in Sept. of 1988.
Ann was a wonderful wife and mother. She raised nine children and did a beautiful job. Ann was independent and strong willed. In her free time she liked traveling, making crafts, and taking care of her flowers in the garden. She loved the White Mountains and was very happy in Pinedale. Ann was a member of the Burton Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Hiatt, a friend of many years will officiate the service.
Ann is survived by her husband, Roy Reddin of Pinedale; sons, Kenneth Spivey of Linden, Steve Reddin of Phoenix, Larry (Priscilla) Reddin of Phoenix, Gary (Robin) Reddin of Goodyear, Kenny Reddin of Van Cover, Washington; daughters, Suzanne (Charles) Nelson of Ramona, California, Elaine (Andrew) Niesen of Longmont, Colorad, Terri Reddin of Phoenix, Tamara (Mervin) Burrell of Phoenix; sister, Roberta (Bill) Buck of Nederland, Colorado; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Feb. 1, at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Interment will be in the Burton Cemetery.
