The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/08/2005 Delbert Ivins, 35 died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 near Cedar Creek. He was born Aug. 18, 1969 in Cibecue and has lived his whole life there. Delbert enjoyed cutting firewood with his friends, as well as playing horseshoes. He enjoyed his friendships. Delbert is survived by his daughter, Debbie Slick of Cibecue; parents, Andrew & Louella Ivins of Cibecue; brothers, Herman Ivins, Sr., Roy Ivins, Sr., Alfred Ivins, Arnold Ivins, Sr., Vince Ivins, Monty Ivins, and Troy Ivins all of Cibecue; sister, Mary Jane Sanchez of Cibecue. He was preceded in death by his sister, one brother, and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Cottonwood Gym in Cibecue. A two-night wake will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Andrew and Louella Ivins residence. Interment will be in the Salt Creek Cemetery in Cibecue.
