BURGER, Frances Marie

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/11/2005 Frances Marie Burger, 78, died at the Bannon Springs Assisted Living facility Feb. 4, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 3, 1926 to William and Anna Coovert in Covington, Oklahoma. She spent many years as a resident of Phoenix, and most of her retirement years in Wagoner, Oklahoma with husband Jack Burger. When Jack died in Oklahoma last year, she began to spend some time in Eagar before succumbing to her illness. Her survivors include her six children: Carol (Robert) Travillion, Joyce (Phillip) Betzer and Sandra (Robert) Mathers, all of Phoenix; Lonnie (Sandra) Burger, Henderson, Nevada; Kenneth (Teresa) Burger, Eagar, and Judy (Ken) Hooper, Longview, Washington; 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Her husband of 60 years, preceded her in death, July 12, 2004 in Wagoner, Oklahoma as well as an infant son, Jackie Wayne. A service was held at the Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary Chapel, 535 N. Main St., Eagar, Feb. 7. Interment will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Eagar, handled the arrangements.
