Elizabeth Ann Hancock
Our beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hancock, age 51, was called home to the arms of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 16, 2010.
Elizabeth was born in Cottonwood, Arizona on August 23, 1958. She was born to Stanley Ernest Wakefield and Nell Louise Wood. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Alhambra High School in 1976.
After graduating she met and fell in love with Marty John Hancock. They were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on July 16, 1977. Marty and Elizabeth later moved to Wickenburg, Arizona where they raised their seven children together.
Elizabeth was an exemplary mother, wife, homemaker and teacher. She contributed time and service through her many church callings, including most recently serving as the seminary teacher.
Elizabeth loved to read and learn, but she was happiest when she was with her family.
She is survived by her husband Marty Hancock, her children; Jason Hancock, Keith and Kaelie Hancock, Bethany and Brian Sedig, Justin and Elissa Mulder, Troy and Whitney Lunt, Rhianna Hancock and Seth Hancock, and four grandchildren, Her parents; Stanley and Dixie Wakefield and Francis and Louis Wood, and her siblings; Mark Wakefield, Cathy Mecham, Layton Wakefield, and Ann Marie Lacey.
A memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank, donations can be made at any location.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 22 at the Wickenburg Ward building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, followed by interment at Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
