Steven “Stevo” Leonard Oberle 47, passed away near Lake Alamo on May 14, 2010. Steven was born in Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey. His father was in the military so Steven lived in various locations during his youth. He graduated from High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and began working construction, mainly roofing.
He later received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, and began working for the City of Wichita in Kansas and worked there for several years. He came to the Wickenburg area 13 years ago from Kansas. He had been injured while horseback riding in California and had suffered an extensive back injury.
Steven was a member of the American Legion Post in Wickenburg. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed Karaoke at the Legion and playing cards with his many friends there. He really loved playing chess with his daughter Audrey and cribbage with his daughter Kay.
Steven was preceded in death by his father David LeRoy Oberle in 1983. He is survived by his Mother Glenda Crawford of Morristown, Daughters Kay and Audrey Crawford, Brothers David (Heather) Oberle of Alaska, Michael (Kay) Oberle of Texas. Nieces Ivy and Willow Oberle of Alaska, former Wife, Misty Schumaker of Wichita, Kansas, and many good friends. He will be deeply missed.

Steven “Stevo” Leonard Oberle, 47, passed away near Lake Alamo on May 14.
Steven was born April 17, 1964 in Ft. Monmouth, N.J.
His father was in the military, so Steven lived in various locations during his youth. He graduated from high school in Colorado Springs, Colo., and began working construction, mainly roofing. God has finally taken away the pain and will hold you in His hands close to His heart. We will always miss you and what might have been.
